In 2001, Sonti coached and groomed the voices of the cast of "Umoja" in the West End. Sonti had held command performances for Heads of government in Botswana, Ghana, Nigeria, Gabon, Togo, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Europe. Sonti performed before Her Majesty-The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales and President Nelson Mandela on the occasion of his state visit to London at the Royal Albert Hall.

Broadening her horizons, SONTI relocated to London to join up with the cast of IPI TOMBI and in the same year began collaboration with MIRIAM MAKEBA & HUGH MASEKELA that was to last for ten years. During this period, she made appearances throughout the world with artists as diverse as PETER GABRIEL, GEORGE MICHAEL, STING, SADE, BOY GEORGE, LIONEL RITCHIE AND CHAKA KHAN. The experience that SONTI gained through these performances secured her a place on PAUL SIMON'S GRACELAND TOUR, singing to audiences in Britain, Europe, USA, Africa, Canada and Australia, and also every musicians dream, an appearance at THE GRAMMY AWARDS. Venues at which SONTI has performed include Wembley Arena, The Apollo Theatre in New York and Madison Square Gardens (with BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, BILLY JOEL AND GRACE JONES).
